Le haut débit mobile ne peut pas connecter Ubuntu 16.04 avec le portable Lenovo Thinkpad X260 Qualcomm Snapdragon X7 LTE-A

J'ai un petit problème pour installer un modem dans mon nouveau portable Lenovo Thinkpad X260. Le modèle du modem est Sierra Wireless EM7455 Qualcomm Snapdragon X7 LTE-A et OS est Ubuntu 16.04.

À l'écran de connexion à Ubuntu, une fenêtre contextuelle m'indiquant d'entrer le PIN m'a donc désactivé PIN pour la carte SIM d'un téléphone portable. Il s'agit d'une installation absolument nouvelle d'Ubuntu téléchargée et installée en mai 2017 avec absolument rien d'autre installé, seulement essayé d'exécuter le modem. La sortie est

Haut débit mobile - non activé dans Network Manager.

J'ai essayé de créer une nouvelle connexion dans Paramètres> Réseau> Haut débit mobile, mais après l'avoir créée, il n'est plus possible de cliquer dessus, elle ne s'affiche nulle part. Lorsque je clique sur gestionnaire de réseau, je peux créer un nouveau réseau via Edit Connections, mais là encore, cette nouvelle connexion ne figure nulle part. J'ai aussi essayé un logiciel appelé Sakis3G mais sans succès. Je ne veux pas passer à Windows uniquement pour cette raison.


Choses que j'ai trouvé quelque part et essayé:

  1. La première chose que j'ai faite a été de mettre la carte SIM dans le téléphone portable. Internet fonctionne là-bas et j'ai désactivé PIN sur la carte. De plus, j'ai testé le modem sous Windows 7 et 10 et dans les deux cas, cela fonctionne.

  2. J'ai créé un fichier /etc/udev/rules.d/99-sierra.rules avec le contenu suivant:

J'ai également eu un problème similaire, la seule différence est que j'ai un Fibocom Cat6 L830-EB 4G LTE.

Je ne sais pas si cela pourrait vous aider, mais j'ai résolu le problème de téléchargement de l'interface graphique "Modem Manager" à partir du centre logiciel Ubuntu.

J'ai un Thinkpad T480 avec Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. J'espère que cela peut aider n'importe qui.

J'ai eu le même problème avec linux mint 18.2 (Ubuntu 16.04)

1) ajoutez 16.10 sources à apt

2) Installez modemmanager-1.6.0 à partir de la source et de ses dépendances

# cd /usr/src
# apt-get source modemmanager {libmbim libqmi}
# apt-get build-dep {*}
# cd {*} ; dpkg-buildpackage

3) devrait fonctionner maintenant :-)
