Suppression du support Gravatar.com pour WordPress et les avatars locaux simples

Actuellement, j'utilise des avatars locaux simples sur plusieurs de mes blogs, ce qui permet aux utilisateurs de télécharger leur propre avatar personnalisé.

Autant que je sache, Simple Local Avatars utilise get_avatar pour vérifier si un avatar personnalisé est sélectionné, s'il n'est pas configuré par défaut sur Gravatar.com.

Serait-il possible de désactiver le bit Gravatar.com d'une manière ou d'une autre, en désactivant complètement Gravatar.com et en renvoyant uniquement une image hébergée locale si aucun avatar personnalisé n'est sélectionné?

La description du plugin doit être explicite, mais l'avatar par défaut est http://wordpress-theme-path/images/default_avatar.png, ce qui peut être filtré dans la variable functions. Php de votre thème, s'il existe ailleurs;

J'ai réussi à remplacer tous les avatars de gravitar.com par ma propre image d'avatar hébergée localement en l'ajoutant au fichier function.php de mon thème:

Cela suppose que vous avez un avatar local par défaut appelé user.png dans le sous-répertoire images de votre thème.

Dans le panneau d'administration discussion settings, assurez-vous que "Afficher les avatars" est coché.

Je n'ai pas testé cela avec Simple Local Avatars, mais cela fonctionne très bien avec Basic User Avatars (qui est une fourchette légère de Simple Local Avatars).

TIP: Si vous concevez votre propre avatar par défaut, je vous recommande de le définir en 300x300 pixels pour qu'il ait fière allure sur les écrans "retina" lorsque WP l'affiche à "150x150" . Vous pouvez ensuite réduire considérablement la taille de fichier de l’image en la compressant à l’aide de tinyPNG.com .

Supprimez complètement les avatars. Mettez ce code dans functions.php à partir de votre thème utilisé.
