C # obtenir la vignette du fichier via Windows API

Je sais comment étendre le shell pour fournir des miniatures à Windows.

Ce que je veux faire, c'est récupérer l'image miniature à partir de n'importe quel fichier du système via le Shell en utilisant C #. Est-ce possible?

Essentiellement, j'écris un navigateur de fichiers personnalisé et je veux afficher des vignettes, et je ne peux pas analyser tous les fichiers de la planète pour créer mes propres vignettes.

Clarification: de nombreuses réponses semblent être centrées sur les vignettes des pages Web ou sur la mise à l'échelle d'une image. Mais ce n'est pas du tout ce que je recherche. Les appels de vignettes du pack de codes API Windows ne sont malheureusement pas pris en charge par XP/2003.

Pas exactement ce que vous avez demandé, mais voici un projet pour ouvrir un fichier Thumbs.db .
L'article Wikipédia contient plus d'informations sur où trouver les vignettes dans Vista et 7.
