Comment puis-je vérifier les certificats SSL sur la ligne de commande?

J'essaie de valider/vérifier que la clé rsa, le ca-bundle et le certificat stockés ici sont corrects. Ils ne sont pas servis par un serveur Web. Comment puis-je les vérifier?

En supposant que vos certificats sont au format PEM, vous pouvez faire:

openssl verify cert.pem

Si votre "ca-bundle" est un fichier contenant des certificats intermédiaires supplémentaires au format PEM:

openssl verify -untrusted ca-bundle cert.pem

Si votre openssl n'est pas configuré pour utiliser automatiquement un ensemble installé de certificats racine (par exemple dans /etc/ssl/certs), vous pouvez alors utiliser -CApath ou -CAfile pour spécifier l'autorité de certification.

Voici une ligne pour vérifier une chaîne de certificats:

openssl verify -verbose -x509_strict -CAfile ca.pem -CApath nosuchdir cert_chain.pem

Cela ne nécessite pas d'installer CA n'importe où.

Développer les réponses ci-dessus.

Si vous avez les certificats intermédiaires dans un fichier séparé, comme ils le sont dans Postfix et Apache pour en nommer certains, vous pouvez toujours vérifier la chaîne sur la ligne de commande.
