Courrier multipart / alternatif vs multipart / mixte

Lors de la création de e-mails vous êtes censé définir le Content-Type sur multipart/alternative lors de l’envoi de HTML et TEXT ou multipart/mixed lors de l'envoi de texte et de pièces jointes.

Alors, que faites-vous si vous souhaitez envoyer du HTML, du texte et des pièces jointes? Utilise les deux?

J'ai relevé le défi aujourd'hui et j'ai trouvé ces réponses utiles mais pas assez explicites pour moi.

Edit : Vous venez de trouver le Apache Commons Email qui résume bien la situation, ce qui signifie que vous n'avez pas besoin de savoir ci-dessous.

Si votre besoin est un email avec:

  1. versions texte et html
  2. la version html a des images incorporées (en ligne)
  3. pièces jointes

La seule structure que j'ai trouvée qui fonctionne avec Gmail/Outlook/iPad est la suivante:

Utilisation multipart/mixed avec la première partie comme multipart/alternative et les pièces suivantes pour les pièces jointes. À son tour, utilisez text/plain et text/html parties dans la multipart/alternative partie.

Un client de messagerie capable devrait alors reconnaître le multipart/alternative part et affiche la partie texte ou la partie html si nécessaire. Il devrait également afficher toutes les pièces suivantes en tant que pièces jointes.

La chose importante à noter ici est que, dans les messages MIME en plusieurs parties, il est parfaitement valide d’avoir des parties dans des parties. En théorie, cette imbrication peut s'étendre à n'importe quelle profondeur. Tout client de messagerie raisonnablement capable devrait alors être capable de récursivement traiter toutes les parties du message.

Les messages ont un contenu. Le contenu peut être du texte, du HTML, un DataHandler ou un Multipart, et il ne peut y avoir qu'un seul contenu. Les multiparties ont uniquement des BodyParts mais peuvent en avoir plusieurs. Les BodyParts, comme Messages, peuvent avoir un contenu qui a déjà été décrit.

Il y a quelques choses que j'ai faites pour que cela fonctionne dans un ensemble plus large d'appareils. À la fin, je vais lister les clients sur lesquels j'ai testé.

  1. J'ai ajouté un nouveau constructeur qui ne contenait pas les pièces jointes des paramètres et n'utilisait pas MimeMultipart ("mixed"). Il n'est pas nécessaire de mélanger si vous envoyez uniquement des images en ligne.

  3. Le dernier élément a été ajouté à la méthode addImagesInline. J'ai ajouté la définition du nom de fichier de l'image à l'en-tête à l'aide du code suivant. Si vous ne le faites pas, alors au moins sur le client de messagerie par défaut Android, des images en ligne portant le nom Inconnu ne seront pas automatiquement téléchargées et présentées dans un courrier électronique.

En me basant sur l'exemple de Iain, j'avais le même besoin de composer ces courriels avec du texte en clair, du HTML et plusieurs pièces jointes séparés, mais en utilisant PHP. Comme nous utilisons Amazon SES pour envoyer des e-mails avec des pièces jointes, l'API vous oblige actuellement à créer l'e-mail à partir de zéro à l'aide de la fonction sendRawEmail (...).

Après de longues recherches (et une frustration bien supérieure à la normale), le problème a été résolu et le code source PHP affiché de manière à pouvoir aider les autres personnes aux prises avec un problème similaire. J'espère que cela aidera quelqu'un - la troupe de les singes que je suis obligé de travailler sur ce problème sont maintenant épuisés.
