Comment obtenir l'emplacement actuel dans Google Map à l'aide de FusedLocationProviderClient

Je souhaite obtenir des mises à jour d'emplacement actuelles périodiques (disons toutes les 2 minutes). Je suis la documentation officielle. J'ai écrit ce code, mais il ne donne pas les mises à jour d'emplacement actuelles toutes les deux minutes, même spécifié dans l'objet LocationRequest que je transmets à requestLocationUpdates ( ), voici le code:

Ceci est similaire à ma autre réponse ici , mis à jour pour utiliser la classe --- récemment introduite FusedLocationProviderClient .

Pour utiliser un FusedLocationProviderClient avec une carte Google:

  1. Attendez que Google Map soit prêt

  2. Demander l'autorisation d'emplacement au moment de l'exécution si nécessaire

  3. Demander des mises à jour d'emplacement une fois l'autorisation accordée

  4. Mettre à jour la carte Google une fois l'emplacement de l'utilisateur obtenu

Commencez par vous assurer que vous utilisez au moins la version 11 des services Google Play, car les anciennes versions ne disposent pas de la classe FusedLocationProviderClient (les versions les plus récentes fonctionnent également):

Notez que FusedLocationProviderClient est présent dans la version 11.0.2, mais en raison de bogues dans l'implémentation initiale, il est recommandé d'utiliser cette classe uniquement à partir de 11.6.0. De la documentation:

Remarque: Il est recommandé d'utiliser la version 11.6.0 ou ultérieure des services Google Play, qui inclut des corrections de bugs pour cette classe.
