Javascript: comment valider les dates au format MM-JJ-AAAA?

J'ai vu une réponse potentielle ici mais c'était pour AAAA-MM-JJ: Validation de date JavaScript

J'ai modifié le code ci-dessus pour MM-JJ-AAAA, mais je n'arrive toujours pas à le faire fonctionner:

Ceci vérifie les jours valides de chaque mois et les jours valables des années bissextiles.

Que diriez-vous de valider les dates au format "ANY"? J'utilise la bibliothèque DateJS et l'ajoute aux formulaires existants pour m'assurer que les dates et heures valides sont formatées comme je le souhaite. L'utilisateur peut même entrer des éléments tels que "maintenant" et "demain" et il sera converti en une date valide.

Je voudrais utiliser Moment.js pour cette tâche. Il rend très facile l’analyse des dates et il permet également de détecter une date non valide.1 dans le bon format. Par exemple, considérons cet exemple :

moment('11/28/1981', formats).isValid()  // true
moment('2-29-2003', formats).isValid()   // false (not leap year)
moment('2-29-2004', formats).isValid()   // true  (leap year)

First moment(.., formats) est utilisé pour analyser l'entrée en fonction du format localisé fourni. Ensuite, la fonction isValid est appelée sur l'objet moment résultant afin que nous puissions déterminer s'il s'agit d'une date valid.

Ceci peut être utilisé pour dériver trivialement la méthode isValidDate:

1 Comme je ne trouve que peu de commentaires à ce sujet, je n’utiliserais moment.js que pour les dates couvertes par le calendrier grégorien . Il peut y avoir des plugins pour d'autres calendriers (historiques ou scientifiques).

J'utilise cette regex pour valider MM-JJ-AAAA:

Veuillez trouver ci-dessous le code qui permet d’effectuer la validation de la date pour l’un des formats fournis ou en fonction des paramètres régionaux de l’utilisateur pour valider les dates de début/de et de fin/fin. Il pourrait y avoir de meilleures approches, mais cela a été fait. Je l'ai testé pour les formats suivants: MM/jj/aaaa, jj/mm/aaaa, aaaa-MM-jj, aaaa.MM.jj, aaaa/MM/jj et jj-MM-aaaa. 

Notez le format de date fourni et la chaîne de date vont de pair.
