Pure JavaScript Send POST Données sans formulaire

Est-il possible d'envoyer des données à l'aide de la méthode POST sans formulaire et sans actualisation de la page en utilisant uniquement du code JavaScript pur (pas jQuery $.post())? Peut-être que httprequest ou quelque chose d'autre (je ne le trouve pas maintenant)?

Vous pouvez l'envoyer et insérer les données dans le corps:

Au fait, pour obtenir une requête:

Vous pouvez utiliser l'objet XMLHttpRequest comme suit:

xhr.open("POST", url, true);
xhr.setRequestHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset=UTF-8");
xhr.send(someStuff);

Ce code publierait someStuff sur url. Assurez-vous simplement que lorsque vous créez votre objet XMLHttpRequest, il sera compatible avec tous les navigateurs. Il existe d'innombrables exemples sur la façon de procéder.

Le [new-ish au moment de l'écriture de 2017] Fetch API est destiné à faciliter les demandes GET, mais il peut également POST.

Si vous avez simplement besoin de POST et que vous n’exigiez pas de réponse du serveur, la solution la plus courte serait d’utiliser navigator.sendBeacon() :
