Comment installer en toute sécurité mysql 5.6 contre akonadi-backend-mysql dans Kubuntu 14.04?

Cela résulte de l’installation de kubuntu-desktop a échoué pour des dépendances non satisfaites . Je suppose que j'ai perdu mon bureau kubuntu après l'installation de mysql 5.6. J'ai récupéré le bureau en installant kubuntu-desktop et akonadi-backend-mysql qui dépend de mysql 5.5.

Lorsque j'ai récupéré le bureau, MySQL 5.6 précédemment installé avait disparu et ces deux fichiers ne se trouvaient pas dans le répertoire /var/run/mysqld/.

/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.pid
/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock

J'ai toujours les fichiers de configuration

/etc/mysql/my.conf
/etc/mysql/conf.d/my5.6.conf

et les bases de données dans le répertoire de données

/var/lib/mysql/

Je vais devoir installer MySQL 5.6, mais je crains que akonadi-backend-mysql ne fonctionne pas avec la version 5.6. J'ai trouvé ce genre de bug rapporté . Voici certains de mes détails:

Donc, ma question est

  1. Est-il prudent d’installer MySQL 5.6 contre akonadi-backend-mysql?
  2. Comment l'installer sans casser mon bureau?

J'ai installé MariaDB 10.1 avec les fonctionnalités de MySQL 5.6 et 5.7 et tout se passe bien.

Sudo add-apt-repository 'deb [Arch=AMD64,i386,ppc64el] http://ftp.kaist.ac.kr/mariadb/repo/10.1/ubuntu trusty main'

Sudo apt-get install mariadb-server
