Comment configurer Grub pour charger automatiquement le noyau Xen

Comment configurez-vous Grub pour utiliser automatiquement le noyau Xen sous Ubuntu 11.10?

Peu importe ce que je fais, il charge le premier menuentry. La seule façon de l'obtenir pour charger Xen est de sélectionner manuellement le noyau, ce que je ne peux pas faire si je dois redémarrer le serveur à distance, ou en cas de panne de courant et de démarrage automatique de la machine lorsque l'alimentation est rétablie, etc. me rend fou.

Dans mon /boot/grub/grub.cfg, le noyau Xen est à l’index 4 (c’est-à-dire qu’il s’agit du cinquième menuentry). Alors j'ai essayé:

  1. Définition de GRUB_DEFAULT = 4 et exécution de Sudo update-grub
  2. Définition de GRUB_DEFAULT = sauvegardé et GRUB_SAVEDEFAULT = true et exécution de Sudo update-grub
  3. Définition de GRUB_DEFAULT = "Ubuntu GNU/Linux, avec serveur Xen 4.1-AMD64 et Linux 3.0.0-16", et exécution de Sudo update-grub

Aucun de ces travaux. Il continue à charger le premier menuentry, "Ubuntu, avec Linux 3.0.0-16-server".

Par essais et erreurs, j’ai trouvé que cela fonctionnait si j’utilisais le nom de sous-menu "Xen 4.1-AMD64" pour GRUB_DEFAULT. Je ne comprends toujours pas pourquoi l'utilisation du nom menuentry n'a pas fonctionné ...

Etes-vous sûr que l'ancienne commande de mise à jour update-grub ne devrait pas être:
