WordPress wpautop/shortcode générant un balisage non valide

Je remarque qu'il n'y a pas de balisage dans mon shortcode. Son ok si je désactive wpautop tho

function shortcode_banner($attrs, $content = '') {
    echo ' --- ' . $content . ' --- ';
    $html = '<section id="banner"><div class="wrap">' . do_shortcode($content) . '</div></section>';
    die($html);
}

Quand l'autop est activé, je reçois (remarquez le </p> de fermeture au début?)

xxx ... xxx ...
---

Quand je suis handicapé je reçois

</div></section>

UPDATE: Je remarque que cela ne se produit que lorsque j'ai un tag (par exemple <h1>) après mon shortcode. Comme:

[banner]
<h1>Test</h1>

Si j'ai

[banner]
xxx ...

c'est ok, sauf que Wordpress ajoute un <br />

Je ne sais pas ce qui cause ce problème, mais vous pouvez utiliser la fonction force_balance_tags() pour nettoyer le balisage après coup.

Notez qu'il existe quelques mises en garde concernant l'utilisation de force_balance_tags() en pratique.
