Installer xdebug dans Ubuntu 16 avec php5 - erreur: impossible de lire ltmain.sh

J'essaie d'installer xdebug dans Ubuntu 16 avec PHP 5 et cela échoue. La commande que j'utilise est la suivante:

Sudo pecl install xdebug

J'ai beaucoup cherché sur les forums mais je n'ai pas trouvé la cause de celui-ci. Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider avec ça?

La seule version PHP prise en charge dans Ubuntu Xenial est 7.0 et les packages php5 seront supprimés avant la version finale.

Cependant, pour corriger uniquement ce bogue, vous devez corriger le lien symbolique ltmain.sh inclus dans le paquet php5-dev:

ln -sf /usr/share/libtool/build-aux/ltmain.sh /usr/lib/php5/build/ltmain.sh

Ou vous pouvez utiliser ppa:ondrej/php5-5.6, qui possède déjà ce correctif et la dernière version en amont.

Vous pouvez également lancer "apt install php-dev" avant d'exécuter "pecl install xdebug".

Cela installe les outils de développement appropriés pour php7. La réponse ci-dessus est plus une solution de contournement pour obtenir un ensemble d'outils de développement php5 pour travailler avec php7.
