Comment charger automatiquement Ubuntu Server dans Grub

C'est mon /etc/default/grub:

Mais en cas de panne de courant, Ubuntu Server 12.10 reste sur cet écran. J'ai essayé de résoudre le problème en éditant l'édition mais ne semble pas avoir d'effet. Comme je n’ai pas d’affichage connecté, j’en ai besoin pour démarrer automatiquement Ubuntu à chaque fois.

Editez /etc/grub.d/00_header et changez la ligne 236 (cette ligne est dans la fonction make_timeout ()) en:

set timeout=0

  1. Pour timeout=-1, il n'y aura pas de compte à rebours et le menu s'affichera.

  2. Pour timeout=0, le menu ne s'affichera pas, même en cas d'échec du démarrage.

  3. Pour timeout>=1, le menu s'affichera pendant le nombre de secondes spécifié.

Exécutez Sudo update-grub après la modification. Un merci spécial à McCunha sur les forums Ubuntu pour le conseil ci-dessus.

La modification ci-dessus amène toutefois GRUB2 à démarrer en mode graphique texte. Ainsi, un changement supplémentaire est requis. Éditez /etc/grub.d/10_linux et changez la ligne 188 en:

set linux_gfx_mode=keep

Encore une fois, lancez Sudo update-grub après la modification.
